About the Role:
As a Programmatic Media Buyer, you will plan, execute, and optimize programmatic media campaigns across various platforms. You will work closely with internal creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure campaigns align with client objectives and deliver maximum ROI. Success in this role will be measured by metrics such as campaign ROI, pacing and delivery accuracy, cost efficiencies, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute programmatic media campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk).
- Utilize demand-side platforms (DSPs) to purchase digital advertising space efficiently.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns in real-time to achieve performance goals.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet delivery targets.
Analytics and Optimization:
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare and present campaign performance reports with actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative teams to develop effective ad creatives that align with campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with account management and analytics teams to deliver integrated media strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners.
Innovation and Strategy:
- Stay up-to-date with programmatic trends, tools, and best practices to inform strategies.
- Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies to maximize ROI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or delivery issues related to campaign execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in programmatic media buying.
- Proficiency with major demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or Amazon DSP.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Understanding of real-time bidding (RTB) and programmatic ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale programmatic campaigns.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with tag management systems and pixel implementation strategies.
- Familiarity with ad serving platforms (e.g., CM360, Flashtalking).
- Experience with data management platforms (DMPs) and audience segmentation.
- Paid Social experience considered an asset.
