About the Role
The Plug Assembly Technician will work closely with other Plug Assembly Technicians, Cerakote Technicians and Quality Control in the assembly process. Ensuring paint quality is to standard, all components are assembled correctly, and complete BOM is prepared for the Shipping Department.
Position Details
Status:3-month Contract
Available Shifts: Day Shift (Mon - Fri, 6am - 2pm)
Location:Calgary, AB (NE Area)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing routine housekeeping around the Shop.
- Lifting & Moving Equipment, Materials and Supplies.
- Picking, Sorting or Taking inventory of shop.
- Conducting Pre-Use Inspections of Mobile Equipment.
- Operating Pallet Jack.
- Use of Hand Tools.
- Loading & Unloading Storage Racks in the Shop.
- Locate and identify BOM (Bill of Material) for specific MO provided by QC.
- Identify parts that correspond with specific BOM.
- Cross reference BOM with the sales order.
- Confirm hardware and elastomers as outlined in Tool Assembly BOM.
- Install hardware correctly.
- Assemble all Plugs.
- Maintain an organized shop.
- Loading tools into Crates & Baskets for Shipment.
Required Abilities, Knowledge, Experience
- Previous warehouse or assembly experience.
- Fabrication experience considered an asset.
- Basic computer skills (MS office).
- Skilled in the use of various hand tools.
