Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manger to join BMI.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee all project-related activities, including planning, budgeting, prioritizing, and executing.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Direct and manage daily operations, including planning, organizing, and directing projects.
  • Agile Implementation: Act as a Scrum Master, facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), manage the product backlog, and coach the team in Agile principles and practices.
  • Project Management Adherence: Ensuring that projects are managed according to the approved project plan
  • Stakeholder Management: Working with external stakeholders such as clients or other departments within the organisation to ensure that projects meet their requirements
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks involved in a project and developing plans to mitigate risk where possible
  • Technical Contributions: Allocate 1/3 of time to technical contributions, including:
    • Facilitating CI/CD automation and testing
    • Implementing DevOps practices
    • Providing technical guidance and support to the development team

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Project Management:
    • At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of managing software projects in the telecom domain.
    • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, relevant automation tools, and basic software development skills.
    • At least 2 years of experience on Dev Ops practice or test automation or software development
    • Experience in embedded systems is a plus
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage workload and meet project deadlines under high-pressure environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a strong analytical capability.
    • Quick learner and willing to take challenge
