Job Summary
As an Intermediate Marketing Automation Specialist on our Email & Marketing Automation team, youll be taking on a more strategic role in automating and optimizing our clients marketing and sales efforts. Your ability to embody our core valuesTeamwork, Integrity, Positivity, and Initiativewill be crucial. In this role, youll not only implement but also contribute to the strategy behind marketing automation campaigns. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience that is tailored to the specific needs of each individual, ensuring satisfaction and long-lasting relationships.
- Oversee the execution and strategy of marketing automation campaigns, acting as a liaison between multiple departments to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
- Continuously assess and interpret campaign analytics, making strategic recommendations for improvements based on engagement and conversion metrics.
- Be a knowledge hub for marketing automation best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to enhance our strategies.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to discover best-performing strategies and to refine current practices.
- Manage more complex data segmentation within the marketing automation platform, ensuring that targeted campaigns are highly personalized and effective.
- Verify that all marketing automation activities adhere to legal guidelines and industry standards, including but not limited to GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
- Collaborate in the development and upkeep of workflow templates and documentation, focusing on scalability and brand consistency.
- Train new team members on best practices and protocols, providing valuable insights to improve their performance.
- Support process innovation and documentation, working closely with the Senior team members to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in small-scale product development initiatives, contributing ideas and collaborating on implementation.
- Continuously stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure we are ahead of the curve.
Required Experience & Skills
- Legally able to work in Canada and located in Calgary, AB
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of applicable and direct experience in marketing automation
- 2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or client relationship management
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex marketing automation campaigns
- Proficiency in advanced data analytics and reporting
- Advanced skills in marketing automation tools like ActiveDEMAND, HubSpot, or comparable platforms
- Demonstrable experience in CRM integration and data management
- Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking skills
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities
- Experience in training and documentation, with the ability to articulate complex processes simply
