Position Overview

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization by analyzing, troubleshooting, and improving business processes and systems. This includes managing ERP systems, facilitating software implementations, integrating data feeds, and providing technical support to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

ERP and Systems Management:

• Develop a thorough understanding of all existing data requirements within the ERP system.
• Maintain full ERP functionality by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, documenting problems and solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Assist with system upgrades, integration, and acceptance testing.

User Support and Training:

• Provide front-end user support and training.
• Develop and document processes, training materials, and user guides.
• Assist staff in resolving system-related issues and malfunctions, while training users on computer programs and systems.

Project Management and Enhancements:

• Serve as project lead for software implementation projects, ensuring proper testing and successful launches.
• Build requirements and specifications for new functionality and enhancements.
• Analyze, design, and implement system changes to resolve issues and manage support tickets in line with service levels.

Data Integration and EDI Management:

• Collaborate with new and existing trading partners to capture and analyze requirements for EDI and API feeds.
• Map documents across various formats, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files, and databases.
• Lead EDI mapping specifications, project objectives, onboarding activities, and go-live processes.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in EDI implementation.
• 3+ years of experience with BlueCherry ERP (preferred).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting software is an asset.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and make independent decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with EDI mapping, data integration, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining training materials and documentation.
• Proven track record of proactive system improvements and successful project leadership.
