The Ideal Candidates must come out of Commercial Real Estate or Commercial Finance.

The Relationship Manager, or Client Relationship Manager, is responsible for forming and maintaining connections with business clients to drive sales. The duties include meeting with potential new clients in-person to discuss our products or services, resolving existing client issues with the services provided, to preserve relationships, and communicating with other internal departments, such as marketing, about maximizing client experiences. This position will work with the Engineering department regarding Property Condition Assessments.

Relationship Manager Duties and Responsibilities

The Relationship Manager will create, build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. They will give clients personalized advice, build raport and provide quick responses to their inquiries. The Relationship Manager will also analyze the company's communication strategy, negotiations and contracts to identify trends that can improve organizational procedures.

Relationship Manager duties:

  • Build new relationships and improve existing relationships with customers, key consultants and strategic partners.
  • Review company practices to ensure clients get maximum satisfaction from their purchases.
  • Educate and inform clients about the company's products, services and special offers.
  • Attend to client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend ways of improving client satisfaction.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure the company meets clients' expectations.
  • Oversee customer relationship management system.
  • Understand and communicate client business needs and services and products service those needs
  • Connect with clients through all available on-line and in-person methods
  • Attend conference and tradeshow as a participant or exhibitor
  • Attend industry related networking events
  • Look for opportunities to expand the company's products and services to service client needs and expand client base
  • Some travel may be involved
  • Reporting results to Management, as it related to KPIs
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education:

• Bachelor in business administration, marketing or a related field

• Three or more years' experience in sales, customer service, or a related position

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work within a team

• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships with clients

• Exceptional organization skills and a strong work ethic

Reporting:

The Relationship Manager will report to the National Accounts Manager. The Relationship Manger will work closely with the Marketing team for the development and execution of marketing tactics.
