Description
Background Information
The purpose of this workstream is to finalize the automation of Ontario Health's electronic medical record (EMR) onboarding process to help support the additional service offerings being made available through EMR. Automations include an online intake form, and export form for OntarioMD (OMD) to triage and manage customer requirements and updated Remedy intake templates to support the implementation of new services. Ontario Health initiated this work in October 2022, working with frontend developers to create an online intake and internally with information technology service management (ITSM) to update and streamline Remedy onboarding templates to include digital health drug repository (DHDR) and other additional services. Although a lot of progress has been made to date, there are still several outstanding requirements to be completed to go live with the automated EMR intake process. In addition to completing the above automation, there is additional automation work planned for this resource to carry out as it relates to the onboarding process, to enable healthcare provider access to provincial clinical data through the provincial clinical viewers in a timelier manner. Key automations will include the integration of Remedy with Adobe Sign to enable auto population of legal agreements, using data collected in the intake tickets, to eliminate manual data entry.
Responsibilities:
Review with stakeholder provided business requirements and get clarifications wherever needed
Design solution and do design walkthrough with in-house developers before implementing
Build approved solution in lower environments
Unit Test solution
Support stakeholders through validation and testing phase
Document solution and promotion instructions
Desired Skills:
Experience with Remedy integration options, including Web Services, 4 year+
A team player with a track record for meeting aggressive deadlines; strong relationship building, facilitation and influencing skills to successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of privacy policies and security principles
Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging
Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.
