Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) is a senior leadership role responsible for managing GoFors financial planning, reporting, and strategic growth. The VP of Finance will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring the organizations financial health and alignment with strategic objectives. This individual will work closely with the executive team to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the companys financial strategy.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support organizational objectives.
  • Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities in alignment with company goals.

Financial Management

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Develop and manage the companys budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Create detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and growth scenarios.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure adherence to local, provincial, and federal financial regulations.
  • Oversee audits, tax filings, and compliance with corporate governance policies.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial accountability throughout the organization.

Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for team members.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the organizations liquidity and financial stability.


Qualifications and RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, if applicable, e.g., technology, healthcare, or manufacturing].
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
