As a member of the Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager will take the lead in developing marketing and communication strategies to help drive the Mobilization teams goals and objectives. In this role you will be the key marketing lead to support the Mobilization team to actively bring the community together in moments of both celebration and crisis and to help foster a volunteer movement to support our communitys top priorities.

Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing, Brand and Fundraising

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing strategy and execution for mobilization events, provide hands-on support to ensure brand-aligned events that meet strategic objectives and are delivered on time and on budget with flawless execution, with clear reporting on metrics, all while documenting learning. Specifically, you will:

  • Collaborate and partner with the mobilization team to understand the strategic goals and objectives of the mobilization line of business, and coordinate across the organization to lead the development of a marketing plan to achieve the stated/desired goals.
  • Leverage data and research to identify target segments of the community which will support the initiation of compelling marketing plans to drive community engagement.
  • Establish fully integrated marketing plans to achieve business objectives, including leading the development of digital marketing strategies across content, email and social media marketing to optimize communication.
  • Lead the marketing briefing process for our creative team that ensure objectives are clearly conveyed, timelines and workback schedules are established and metrics are identified along with how goals will be measured.
  • Oversee project management including creative design, media plan development, project plans, work-back schedules and approvals for fully integrated marketing campaigns across both digital and print, large-scale events, and community partnerships.
  • Following the process and using agreed-upon platforms, ensure work is properly planned and prioritized within the marketing hub, and hub partners have the assets and information they need to support the work at the highest level of effectiveness.
  • Ensure all work is aligned with UJA Brand and is brand compliant across all aspects.
  • Work with the Data & Analytics team to develop dashboards and share metrics during campaign and reporting post-campaign/event.
  • Conduct rigorous follow-up to stay on the critical path, ensuring communication of project status cross-functionally to all key stakeholders on a regular established basis.
  • Provide support for after-hours and last-minute events in crisis situations.
  • Work with the VP Mobilization and Senior Director, Marketing, Brand and Fundraising to streamline, formalize, roll-out and optimize briefing and production process, ensuring it is clear who needs to approve, at what part of the process, and who needs to be informed (RACI)
  • As a senior member of the team, support and show leadership for a positive culture on the marketing team, mobilization team, and UJA organization. Lead by example through collaboration and respect for colleagues and other points of view. Welcome new team members and actively support their onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or Account Manager in an Ad/Communication/Digital Agency
  • Strong Experience leading marketing strategy, creative development and fully integrated communication plans across all platforms
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience leveraging data and research to develop strategies and learnings

* This is a full-time permanent position. Union Level 6.
