Overview:

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and appearance. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise in automotive technology and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately.

2. Repair and Maintenance:

  • Repair and replace damaged mechanical components, such as suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, heating and cooling systems, etc.

3. Technical Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Interpret technical manuals and specifications to execute repairs effectively.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

4. Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment by sharing knowledge and assisting team members as needed.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification from a recognized automotive technical program or equivalent experience preferred.
