Our Story:

To help put this into perspective, well share a story about Andy from Dr. Squatch.
Andy is a retention marketer at one of the fastest-growing direct to consumer brands on the market. She and her very lean team work hard to send as many email campaigns as they can manage but theyre barely able to get them all out.
Her boss calls her into a meeting at the end of the year to talk about next years targets and projections. In her model, the boss details a 30% increase in LTV.
Quietly panicking, Andy asks if theyre planning to hire for her team and is quickly shot down. Andy needs to figure out how to get 30% more output from a team of 2 retention marketers who are already pulling long days and running out of steam.
She spends the next 2 days in a funk, trying to think creatively about how to improve LTV to that magnitude.
She does what so many people do in moments like this and turns to online shopping to soothe her anxiety. She ends up ordering a new serum from the brand, Osea Malibu. The serum arrives and she loves it immediately. Its now officially part of her skincare routine.
Just as shes running low, an email from Osea lands in her inbox. Its a personalized email, inviting her to repurchase the serum. She clicks on the Ready to Reorder? button and, instead of taking her back to Oseas website, it takes her to this pre-populated cart where she can reorder in only a few clicks. Role:
Were looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our growing team and bring Stampeds mission to the forefront for DTC brands. Youll join a small team of high-performing AEs who collaborate daily with the broader revenue team (marketing, partnerships, and sales development) to revolutionize how the industry views retention.
Using the Challenger Sales methodology, youll act as a trusted consultant to prospects, guiding them toward innovative solutions while driving results for their businessand ours.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in whats happening in the ecommerce industry, our customers and the problems theyre looking to solve, and how reviews, loyalty & personalization drive key outcomes for these customers
- Own and deliver against a monthly MRR target
- Get in front of the right people through a combination of outbound outreach, partnerships, industry events, social media, etc.
- Know where to focus your effort by asking the right questions and qualifying leads
- Run thoughtful discovery to balance a deep understanding of a prospects business and the limited time you have in front of that prospect
- Take what youve learned about the prospect to teach them something new about their business and convey Stampeds value to their specific needs
- Run tailored platform demos to multiple stakeholders
- Leverage our partner ecosystem to create solutions for prospects
- Negotiate deal terms
- Analyze your pipeline to accurately forecast your results. Build and execute a plan to fill gaps and accelerate month ending MRR added
- Maintain proper CRM hygiene and leverage other sales tools effectively (Hubspot, SalesNav, Apollo, Storeleads, Gong, etc.)
- Provide feedback to the rest of our company (product, CS, support, etc.) of what youre hearing with prospects
- Provide feedback on how to improve our department to make the revenue team more impactful and efficient
- Design experiments and share learnings back with the rest of the revenue team. Host trainings/workshops on what has worked well so others can level up
Requirements:
- Experience working with DTC ecommerce brands
- Track record of exceeding targets
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills both with customers and internal team members
- Ability to translate complex ideas into memorable moments for prospects
- Natural curiosity and a need to understand things you dont know yet
- Self-driven learning & development
- Internal locus of control & default to taking accountability
- Comfort respectfully pushing back on prospects, challenging the way they think about their businesses and the ability to offer them a better way of operating
Compensation:
We are open to exploring many different levels of experience for the role. We offer a starting base salary of $55,000 - $75,000 CAD depending on experience and skills. This role has a variable pay element which provides an estimated total starting OTE of $110,000 - $150,000 CAD.
We take a holistic approach to compensation at Stamped. Total compensation includes Salary, benefits, RRSP, ESPP, an annual education allowance and other perks.
