Based out of Moncton, the route will include pickup and deliveries with customers in the Greater Moncton and surrounding area and include quarterly trips out of province consisting of four weeks on the road with weekends at home. Some trips may include overnight stays.THE ROLEPerforms pre-trip and post-trips inspections Loads and unloads truck regular Deliver and collect products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route and serves customers by understanding, resolving and/or forwarding customer questions Continuously provides an unwavering commitment to meeting customer demands and requirements on a daily basisMaintains the cleanliness of the truck cab using cleaners provided by the company Accurately records information on packing slip and manifestMaintains safe operation by complying with organization operational policies, procedures and standards, as well as local driving rules and regulationsComplies with all environmental & health and safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as required by ManagementREQUIREMENTSValid Class 3 or Class 1 Drivers LicenseClear Drivers AbstractMust be able to lift, push, pull up to 60lbs on an occasional basisMust be able to travel outside of the province on an occasional basisMust be able to work: Sun - Thurs (start time varies between 3:30am - 6:00am)Ability to work flexible hours (such as holidays and weekends) in order to complete routes in accordance with schedules; and able to work overtime as requiredMinimum of 4 years verifiable, related behind the wheel driving experience (within last 36 months); along with delivery Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, criminal background check, pre-employment medical test and a driver's road test or equivalentAbility and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure materialsFluent in English, reading, writing, oral
