Footprints is looking for a Security Mobile Patrol officer (Nights ) Victoria BC

General Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with our Mobile Patrol division staff, Static Guards and Regional Director of Operations
  
• Ability to provide training and mentoring to our security professionals on security policies and procedures in a calm effective manner
  
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
• Proactively manage team members with a focus on employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance of direct reports
• Work effectively with other departments, demonstrating strong administrative skills
• Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support of employees including assisting with on going training, providing corrective support, and ensuring adherence to all company policy
• Flexible availability including afternoons and evenings (*Must be available weekends* )
• Must be physically capableof driving, walking, and conducting patrols of various areas

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid BC Security Worker's License
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience in the security industry an asset (we are also willing to train the right candidate)
  
• Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures
• Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
• Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a hands on approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills
  
• Must have strong leadership, social interaction, and organizational skills; proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Possess strong knowledge of security procedures, scheduling, and managing people within a security services environment
  
• Strong observation and communication skills
  
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
