We are looking for a skilled and motivated Ticketed Welder (MIG / Stick) to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong work ethic, technical welding expertise, and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!Position Overview:As a Ticketed Welder (MIG / Stick), you will be responsible for performing welding tasks in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment. You will work with metal components and materials, ensuring that all welds meet quality standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG and Stick welding on various metals and components according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Inspect and test welds for strength, accuracy, and conformity to specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and adheres to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
  • Follow all company guidelines and standards for quality control.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, specifically MIG and Stick welding.
  • Valid Welding Certificate/Ticket (CWB, AWS, or equivalent).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials, and work in various positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Additional certifications or training in welding (TIG, flux core, etc.) is an asset.
