We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Layout and Trimble Manager to join our team. This position is full-time, permanent and site-based.

Reporting to the Construction Management Group, the Layout and Trimble Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing training and execution of layout with the Trimble and its operators across the sites.

Specifically, the Layout and Trimble Manager will coordinate with the BIM Manager in the importing and setup of the various Trimble files for each site and be responsible to train operators responsible for accurate layout and physical coordination of plumbing points, equipment points, sleeves, and inserts across all PMPs job sites.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of the Layout and Trimble Manager:

  • Lead by example; work alongside, lead, supervise and direct the site team.
  • Develop, lead, and maintain a Layout and Trimble training program that produces the highest level of Trimble operators who can troubleshoot and maintain the highest level of accuracy, and productivity in a wide variety of working conditions.
  • Accurately layout points, collect data, perform basic mathematical calculations and quality checks during the construction phase of the project.
  • Provide technical support, collaborate with site supervisors, and team members to ensure layout and accuracy.
  • Properly care and maintain Trimble units and all associated equipment.
  • Travel between all PMP jobs

  • Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.

Education and/or Experience

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Experience using Trimble instruments and software
  • Experience with site-based layout
