The Transport Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation and delivery of fuels and petroleum products to Gas Stations, customers, and partners.

This full-time permanent position will be based out of Stratford, Ontario, and working a day shift - please see the schedule below.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • $33.40 per hour once fully trained, plus premiums.
  • $1.50 per hour premium for weekend days (Friday - Sunday).
  • $2.50 per hour premium for weeknights (Monday - Thursday).
  • $4.00 per hour premium for weekend nights (Friday - Sunday).

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Ensure the safe loading of fuels onto/from the delivery truck.
  • Ensure the accurate and safe delivery of fuels and petroleum products to customers.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of all products and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate recording of product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, delivery reports, and fuel tickets.
  • To work safely, abiding by all safety regulations and rules, and wearing all safety equipment when required.
  • Will be required to drive different tractor-trailer combinations including B-trains and quad trailers.
  • Update driver logs.
  • Ensure that all units have properly updated site delivery information in tractors.

SHIFT DETAILS:

  • Hours of work are 5:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • The schedule is based on a 3-week/21-day rotation.
  • Week 1: 1 day on (Monday), 1 day off (Tuesday), 3 days on (Wednesday-Friday) 2 days off (Saturday, Sunday)
  • Week 2: 5 days on (Monday-Friday), 2 days off (Saturday, Sunday)
  • Week 3: 2 days on (Monday, Tuesday), 1 day off (Wednesday), 4 days on (Thursday-Sunday)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • AZ certification required and experience driving liquid bulk.
  • 3 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Proven safety and confidence with city driving.
  • Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
  • Must present a professional image at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive and humble attitude.
  • Ability to prepare for, and pass the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute test.
  • Demonstrate a safety-first approach to the role.
  • Mechanical inclination is desirable.
