Comfort Keepers is seeking a scheduler for work in the Orangeville, Ontario area. New HR and Business graduates encouraged! The ideal candidate will be able to quickly build relationships with employees and clients and have an exceptional phone presence.
We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home. In this position you will be responsible for scheduling PSWs in private homes, and government funded cluster sites.
This position requires a minimum commitment of 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, as well as participation in the on call rotation; Wednesday overnights and two (2) weekends per month.

What you'll need:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a scheduler (preferably in health care)
- Solid foundational understanding of the Employment Standards Act
- Ability to multitask
- Working knowledge of ERPs and Microsoft Office Suite (or ability to learn new technologies quickly)
- Human Resources or Business degree (preferred ) or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to pass an annual Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Lead and manage the scheduling of client visits
- Provide coverage for employee schedules and staff call offs, ensuring the accuracy of schedules
- Collaborate with clients, families, care coordinators, administrators and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Participate in the after hours on call rotation to support clients, prospective clients and employees for urgent matters
- Assisting in the onboarding, training and development of new employees
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager to support the overall goals and objectives of the company
