We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team in Woodbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their homes are comfortable and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Enercare in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner; you are a proud ambassador for our company.
- Perform maintenance and repair of residential Water Heater and HVAC systems, including Heat Pumps.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Communicate with clients to explain system issues, solutions, and maintenance recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Educate and promote the value of Enercares products, services and programs
- Contribute to business growth by lead generation
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC and water heater technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, including Heat Pumps
- 313D or 313A
- Gas fitter 2 license
- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card
- Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting commercial refrigeration equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- A valid Class G Drivers license with a relatively clean driving record
- Willing and able to work overtime and rotating shifts (weekend availability is a must)
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e., occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
- Experience with generating HVAC leads and enrolling customers in new service plans is an asset
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
