Job Description: Superintendent (General Contractor - ICI Projects)

Location: Ontario, Canada
Project Size: $20M to $200M

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for ICI projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate daily site operations, including subcontractor and supplier activities.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with provincial standards and company policies.
• Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site meetings and maintain effective communication with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure site documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including daily logs, RFIs, and change orders.
• Manage resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and mentor site staff to maintain productivity and morale.
• Provide regular progress reports to the project management team.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ICI construction.
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $20M–$200M.
• Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, health and safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
