A little about the role
The Director of Paid Media is an executive-level role that will lead the departments performance, execution, product development and team growth. Think of it like a mini-company within the company and youre the CEO. This role is ideal for an experienced paid media leader with an entrepreneurial streak.
Youll be responsible for:
- Lead, inspire, mentor, and grow a team of paid media pros to deliver exceptional results and experiences for our clients.
- Oversee client strategy development, execution, and results - enhancing and improving upon all three.
- Driving innovation and keeping our team on the cutting edge of paid media trends.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align paid media strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Demonstrating thought leadership and subject matter expertise both internally and with our clients.
- Expanding our service offerings and improving processes to ensure operational excellence.
- Managing department resources including budgets, resources, capacity planning, and tools.
A little about you
Youre a strategic thinker with a track record of leading high-performing paid media campaigns. You know how to get results, inspire your team, and stay ahead of industry trends. Being a growing company, you know when to leverage your team and when to roll up your sleeves and get on the tools yourself.
General Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid media.
- 5+ years of performance marketing agency experience.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, and other programmatic platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setup.
- CRM experience (e.g. Hubspot) and connecting media efforts to revenue.
- Strong analytical & presentation skillsable to dig into data, identify trends, and present clear recommendations.

- Strong communicator with excellent client-facing presentation skills.
