JANAs GIS Delivery Team Leader is an ambitious individual that is excited by technical mentorship, problem-solving, and technology. They are experts in our clients use of GIS technologies and help our clients to understand and execute better approaches for utilizing geospatial data. On the path of Unmatchable Client Experience, the GIS Delivery Team Leader collaborates with the project team and the Principal Engineers to support the development and deployment of JANAs products, and contributes to troubleshooting efforts.
Are also responsible for supporting new clients to configure ESRI GIS servers and set up the installation and integration of JANAs products within the clients GIS environments, troubleshooting and providing support as required. The GIS Delivery Team Lead to ensure all tasks are executed with the highest quality.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and helps to lead a culture of exceptional client care, team synergy, learning, and growth.
- Supports the growth of a strong team by fostering day-to-day working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Works with clients IT departments to configure ESRI GIS servers and set up the installation and integration of JANAs products within the clients GIS environments.
- Supports implementation process by providing expertise to meet clients IT requirements and troubleshooting as required.
- Ensures Service Level Agreements to clients and stakeholders are met, understanding client and JANA responsibilities.
- Interacts with Development, Quality Assurance and Product Management at JANA, to escalate and resolve customer issues and improve the clients experience.
- to and triage production tickets raised by clients.
- Provides updates/upgrades, applies patches and addresses issues.
- Occasional evenings and weekends support required

Technical Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience administering and integrating ESRI ArcGIS Server Environments
- 3+ years proven work experience in system integration and production support
- Experience writing Python scripts for the purpose of automation within ESRI environments (i.e. ArcPy)
- Experience working with databases and writing basic SQL queries
- Experience administering and configuring IIS on Windows Server Environments
