Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated Millwright to join their vibrant Maintenance Department on the Night Shift! This is your chance to make a real impact by ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced production environment.Position Overview:In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our production team, providing essential technical support to enhance uptime and efficiency. You'll implement preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate with third-party service providers to keep our facilities running smoothly.   • Inspection Pro: Schedule and prepare for annual inspections to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
  • Shift Coverage Champion: Ensure adequate shift coverage while maintaining precise logbook documentation.
  • Maintenance Master: Execute preventive maintenance tasks as per established programs, keeping equipment in top shape.
  • Emergency Responder: Jump into action for emergency and unscheduled repairs, minimizing equipment downtime and keeping production flowing.
  • Mechanical Detective: Diagnose mechanical issues, repair or replace parts, and make necessary adjustments with skill and precision.
  • Contractor Communicator: Effectively liaise with external contractors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Boiler Boss: Operate and maintain steam boilers while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
  • Record Keeper: Update and maintain system records and documentation to keep everything organized and compliant.
  • Contract Coordination: Manage activities of outside contractors when required to support maintenance efforts.
  • Cleanliness Champion: Maintain a clean and safe boiler room while managing chemical dosing equipment.
  • Chemical Monitor: Conduct weekly checks on chemical levels in the boiler and water softener to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Millwright with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry experience is a plus!).
  • Strong technical background with expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
  • Proficient in CMMS, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
