Plasman, 635 Sprucewood, Windsor, ON, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

PROCESS TECHNICIANS - Molding

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Mold set-up as required
• Ensure proper set up as set out by the Technical/Shift Supervisor
• Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
• Direct Set-up technicians, in a manner conductive to their development and education.
• Operate overhead crane in a safe manner
• Set-up end of arm tooling on robots
• Ensure first/last off inspections are completed and maintain SPC aspects of process and react when problems arise
• Perform production runs when required
• Perform tryout and production related duties as required and communicate concerns
• |Identify and recommend maintenance if required
• Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Comply with established rules, procedures and Health & Safety mandates
• Abide by the Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.
• Completion of any other duties as assigned.
• Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary education

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred 2 years working within a technical capacity
• Experience with injection molding processes and set up within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated level of knowledge, skill and ability as a process technician

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and the ability to perform well in high pressure situations
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to work 12 hour shifts, Friday to Sunday
