Wage: $57.70 hourly. Unionized. Night and weekend shift premiums. Dual ticket pay bump.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 4 Yr Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate ( Offroad and On HWY Certified ). Must be Red Seal if coming from Out of Province.
• Strong experience with off road equipment - Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi preferred
• Troubleshooting experience with willingness to be responsible for results
• Be physically fit and have the ability to cooperate and work effectively with others (must pass pre-employment fit test)
• Self motivated
• Must be safety focused
• Responsible, professional and reliable

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment, mining equipment, and vehicles on an assigned shift in a continuous mining operation
• Inspect, identify, and repair equipment and machinery breakdowns
• Administration tasks related to repairs and our preventative maintenance program
• Perform other related duties as assigned
