POSITION IS REMOTE or HYBRID (dependent on distance from Toronto Head Office)

Expedition Expectations

As a key member of the Canada West Region Team, the Corporate Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a hybrid (currently two days in the office required) or remote position (dependent on distance from the Toronto Office).

Passport to Success

• Managing all aspects of client travel reservations.
• Developing creative solutions to serve client needs.
• Keeping up to date with industry developments.
• Fulfilling complex and unusual travel requests.
• Reviews all reservations for travel policy and procedure compliance
• Advising clients on lowest fare and routing option
• Ensures that all reservation files pass quality control prior to ticket issuance
• Follows all policy and procedures as outlined in the training manual
• Provides quality service to each corporate client
• Supports preferred vendor agreements
• Call backs to clients
• Researching client needs or special requests when required
• Supporting team members with client requests
• Solid knowledge of NORAM bookings
• Ability to act with absolute discretion

Going the Extra Mile

• Five (5) years' experience as a corporate travel advisor
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience with working with Sabre – GDS
• Able to work Monday through Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm EST with a willingness to occasionally work other hours as needed.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
• Travel School Graduate preferred
• Experience with Domestic and Transborder reservations
• Hands on Car/ Hotel reservation knowledge
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of airline ticketing rules and regulations
• Excellent customer service ability
• Solid communications techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem solver and ability to think ‘outside the box' for customers
• Team player
• Ability to be flexible and multi-task
• Must be able to lawfully work in Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for Canada
