In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert guidance to patients and healthcare professionals alike. As a pharmacist, youll be responsible for dispensing medications, offering health advice, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care.
- Provide professional advice and counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter medications including indications, dosage, adverse effects, and drug interactions and health related issues to patients.
- Develop, maintain strong working relationships, and collaborate with health care professionals in the community to ensure the continuity of care and proper handling of a patients varying health concerns.
- Exercise professional judgement and practice within federal, provincial, legal, and regulatory requirements, the provincial code of ethics, standards of practice and policies.
- Demonstrate professional integrity and uphold a high level of professional standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.
Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc.Phm.) or a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized institution.
- Have an injection certification, current licensure, and good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
- Have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
