Job Summary:
We passionately believe that empowered and engaged people are the key to success. In this role, you will grow, mentor, and lead a dedicated in-person sales team and a Community Ambassador team, under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing as well as the Executive leadership. What does that mean? Identifying opportunities in our ever-growing market, building relationships with key sales influencers, leading a team to deliver consistent sales results, and continuously looking for ways to improve the sales strategy. What you will be doing:
- Sales Cycle Management: Take charge of the entire sales journey, spotting opportunities and empowering your team to seal the deal with our members of our amazing communities.
- Trust Champion: Develop and maintain super strong, trust-filled relationships that align with CFOCs values, making sure our customers are happy and loyal for the long haul.
- Leadership and development: Motivate and lead a team of Sales professionals, establishing strategic objectives, targets and KPIs, providing coaching and development plans.
- Results Measured: Understand the metrics that support the sales process, and identify opportunities based upon the information.
- Establish Connections: Team up with key stakeholders, influencers, and external partners to boost our companys presence and reach new heights.
- Connecting with our customers: Lead our teams and initiatives across Canada with events and interactions that generate meaningful relationships with customers and ultimately grow our subscribership.
What we are looking for:
- A deep understanding of direct sales in Western Canada. You are a seasoned sales veteran, with strong experience in leading event and door-to-door teams (telecommunications experience preferred). You understand the market as well as catering your approach to match the customers needs.
- You understand fiber-optic internet technology, as well technology trends that help businesses connect and evolve.
- A proven history driving growth and improving results you know how to identify strengths, and opportunities, and measure success. Our technology is world-class, and we are passionate about bringing it to rural Canada and empowering economic growth.
- A knowledge of rural and sub-urban communities: how to meet their connectivity needs, and how to explain the value of fiber internet.
- You appreciate that measuring results is a key pillar in managing sales. You are comfortable looking for insights in metrics, finding opportunities, and sharing your findings with leadership and the team.
- An open and honest approach to salesmanship. We stand behind our product and service and strive to deliver on every promise made. Our customers love us, and that starts with the first conversation.
