As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Actively participate in the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, tendering, and construction oversight.
  • Design Expertise: Execute detailed designs for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects, such as:
    • Treatment facility civil works
    • Force mains
    • Storm sewers
    • Sanitary sewers
    • Watermains
    • Feeder mains
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Project Management: Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Construction Support: Provide technical support to construction teams, including shop drawing reviews, payment certificate processing, and change order management.
Qualifications:Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction.Professional License: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in Ontario.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of:
  • Condition assessments
  • Trenchless technologies
  • Pipeline rehabilitation
  • Ontario Environmental Standards and Guidelines
  • Planning, approvals, and permitting processes
Project Management: Experience in project management and controls for municipal water and sewer projects.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/MicroStation/Civil 3D.
