The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking a self-motivated, customer focused team player for the contract role of Customer Service Representative.
General Responsibilities: Receive payments from taxpayers and fees collected by other departments. Respond to lawyer's letters and hard copy requests, answer telephone calls and address public inquiries. Collect and distribute mail and record statistical data.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a two (2) year post-secondary or specialized program or significant related experience or significant related experience in the absence of education;
- Excellent interpersonal, administrative, organizational, communication, attention to detail, time management skills and customer service abilities;
- Experience in collections and with cash handling;
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to think and act strategically and appropriately in a political and community service environment, to foster corporate thinking and a positive/enthusiastic customer-service attitude/approach and to deal courteously and effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and financial applications;
- Excellent written communication skills to prepare e-mails/correspondence;
- Ability to provide an acceptable criminal records check upon hire;
- Ability to work with and contribute positively to a service oriented team.
