· Lead QA in development projects and release cycles as an application subject matter expert.
- Ensure digital applications are fully tested and conform to WCAG standards with the common goal of ensuring frictionless implementation of technology across the organization.
- Contribute as an active team member to Agile projects. Be accountable for understanding user story content, determining test approaches, creating tasks, and providing daily progress updates to team members.
- As an accessibility tester, work closely with developers and designers to suggest modifications or improvements to enhance the products accessibility. Ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into the development process.
- Evaluate testing strategy, overall user experience of the product. This includes assessing usability aspects such as navigation, interaction design, and overall user satisfaction.
- Design, write, execute, and validate test cases, document results, create any required defects, and assign them to the development team for review. Test cases may be executed on a variety of technologies including desktop, mobile etc.
- Research new tools, techniques, and guidelines to enhance testing skills and keep pace with evolving accessibility standards.
- Responsible for conducting training sessions or workshops to educate developers, designers, and other stakeholders about best practices for creating accessible digital products.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure product backlog prioritization and business analysis materials (e.g., agile user stories/requirements, specifications, etc.) have appropriate detail to achieve project objectives.
- Interact with key business & technology stakeholders for providing demos and workshops that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers.
- Participate in Agile-Scrum practices such as daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, and sprint retrospectives.
· Support teams with Accessibility standards remediates for the I&IT solution.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security and OPS Information Technology Partners to remediate application safeguards such as Threat Risk Assessment and Penetration testing recommendations.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications that adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) from inception through the entire product lifecycle.
- Ensure project not only meets compliance standards but also reflects a dedication to inclusive design principles, making digital products usable by the widest possible audience throughout their entire lifespan.

Public Sector Experience
· 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically in maintaining and supporting systems such as Long-Term Care, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Hospital Information Systems (HISs), Clinical Assessment tools, and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) compliant.
