Who You Are:
We are seeking an experienced Group Technical Architect to lead the web architecture practice and mentor a team of technical architects. This role is pivotal in defining and executing the strategic architectural vision across various projects and ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Director of Architecture and Engineering, this role combines leadership, innovation, and technical excellence.

Leadership and Strategy
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of solution and domain-specific architects.

What You Bring to the Team:
7+ years of software development experience developing solutions primarily in JavaScript, Typescript, React and Node.js
2+ years of technology experience in an enterprise, consulting, or a web-scale product company.
3+ years mentoring and leading a technology or architecture team.
3+ years of hands-on architecture experience. Solutioning, architecting and developing applications across multiple disciplines which can include backend microservices, micro frontend architecture, pipeline integrations, CMS systems, security, data and Devops.
Experience in implementing thoughtful, scalable and technology best practices across both backend and frontend.
Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting in front of executives and Architecture Review Boards (ARB).
Experience in designing distributed applications using cloud-based platforms.
Experience in advising and leading a team of Solution or Domain Specific Architects.
Knowledgeable in security protocols and experience navigating compliance regulations when delivering for large scale clients or brands.
Proficient in one or more programming languages, databases, integrations.
Experience using apollo, GraphQL and headless CMS integrations.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
Experience working in a large global development ecosystem.
Certified in AWS or GCP
What Does Success Look Like:
By 30 days, you will observe and learn more about the business, understand business priorities and share your key insights.
By 60 days, you will develop and present an initial strategy for improving the architecture discipline and achieve quick wins.
By 90 days, you will lead the adoption of innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies, and present a detailed report to leadership highlighting achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future opportunities.
