Dream is looking for a Marketing Coordinator

Dream's Marketing Team is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator responsible for providing support for day-to-day marketing, sales and event activities. This position will work closely on both the land and housing business units.

What will you do?

Below are a few of the primary responsibilities this entails, we can discuss them all in more detail when we meet:

  • You have no problem jumping in and assisting with the coordination, production, and distribution of all marketing materials/initiatives as required;
  • You are strong at building relationships and are able to work closely as the liaison with many external vendors and various internal departments (construction, marketing, land and accounting).
  • You will work closely with our marketing team on all signage to ensure it is up to date, properly placed, and coordinated with all external and internal stakeholders.
  • You know your stuff and will be the point of contact responsible for liaising with the sales team ensuring they have the supplies, marketing materials, and information they require;
  • You will be coordinating advertising placements and programs with different media partners;
  • You are social media savvy and will help gather and post social content as well as help manage paid social advertising.
  • You will assist in the execution of community show home parades.
  • Your project management background and organizational skills will be put to work as you co-ordinate and execute various marketing events. This includes liaise with catering/event management companies and all other vendors required to execute the event as well as creating event plans/work back schedules for the team. Events you will be planning include Industry Shows, Builder Events, Community activations, Realtor Events, and Sponsorship initiatives, etc.;
  • Your eye for detail will be essential as you will be responsible for award submissions.
  • Attend and assist with sales and marketing activities and meetings;
  • You may need to help out with other fun and exciting projects as required.

What type of experience do you have?

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, project management, and experience event planning would be an asset.
  • We ask that you have a college diploma or university degree in related field (Marketing, Event Management, and Communications), or demonstrated related experience
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
  • We expect you to be proactive and have creative problem-solving skills.
  • Own and operate your own vehicle to travel to various show homes and communities.
  • Possess a full, clean driver's license.
