J. Post Haulage is a family-owned trucking company who take pride in their equipment and work performed. They are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Heavy Equipment Technician / Service Truck Operator who specializes in off-road equipment to join their growing team.

This position is based out of the Elk Point area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance of property, equipment, and vehicles throughout the facility (i.e., trucks/trailers/equipment)
• Inspect and report operating conditions of equipment and vehicles.
• Occasionally attend service calls in the field.
• Role is primarily based in the Elk Point shop, with the ability to respond to field calls as needed by service truck.
• Attend training sessions to update technical knowledge as needed as well as daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled.
• Mentor and inspire, setting a positive example as you oversee related duties within the team.

Requirements:

• Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate
• Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• Ability to work outside or on site, with most of the work in the shop.
• Experience with on-road and off-road equipment
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with heavy duty trucks, trailers, light duty fleet and various oilfield related equipment.
• H2S, First Aid and CSO required.
