This is an in-office position. Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage a Portfolio: Build and grow your own book of business through proactive B2B cold calling and relationship management.
- Client Engagement: Follow up with both new and existing clients, identifying freight solutions and closing deals that meet their needs.
- Business Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities and expand your client base through effective outreach.
- Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive pricing and secure favorable rates with freight carriers.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Operations Management and Logistics Coordinators to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions and services.
Key Attributes:
- Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or comparable industry experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Outlook and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, providing consistent value and service.
