Our client is looking for a Mould Maker in Kitchener - Waterloo, ON region for their facility.

Shifts: Days and Afternoons rotation bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

• To repair, improve, and maintain the plastic injection moulds.
• To support the production by completing work within the given demands of the regular production schedule.
• To perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection moulds and hot runner manifolds including disassembly, cleaning, inspection for damage or wear, repair and re-assembly.
• To fabricate mould inserts, mould components, fixture and tooling with and without engineering prints and 3-D CAD moulds using milling, turning, grinding, CNC sinker EDM and CNC milling machines.
• Verifies conformance of repaired injection moulds or related tooling to specification by checking dimension, clearances and alignments using various test equipment, consistently working to close tolerances.
• To operate overhead crane to remove and/or relocate moulds to specific workstations/areas.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must hold the license of Mould Maker (431 A)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mould making preferred
