This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their electrical skills while working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment..Job Description: As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians to learn and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. You will gain valuable experience troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that equipment and systems are functioning properly to support our production processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime in the manufacturing process.
  • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work with electrical drawings and schematics to understand system configurations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve electrical systems and overall plant efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required for apprenticeship program advancement.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience as an electrical apprentice, or in a similar entry-level electrical role.
  • Basic understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move electrical equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of relevant coursework or training in electrical systems.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant certifications or licenses as part of the apprenticeship.
