Position Overview

The Controller will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role requires a strategic leader with a keen eye for detail and an ability to drive financial efficiency and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on financial performance and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Develop financial forecasts and models to support business planning and strategy.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance
    • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including GAAP and SOX.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain internal controls and minimize financial risk.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Supervise and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to support company growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
