One of our client is looking for a CNC Operator at Brantford, ON region for their facility.

Shift : Friday noon to 6:00 p.m., and from Saturday to Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pay Rate : $24/hr - $26/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or grinders) to produce parts as per specifications.

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.

• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during the machining process.

• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production and minimize waste.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on machines to ensure optimal performance.

• Conduct quality checks on finished parts, using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure adherence to tolerances.

• Troubleshoot issues with the CNC machinery and work with the maintenance team to resolve any mechanical problems.

• Keep accurate records of production runs and machine maintenance.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in CNC machining or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience operating CNC machines.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and CAD models.

• Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, etc.).

• Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues.

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
