Role Summary
As an Account Executive at Nucleus, youre a hunter and a closer and you love the chase involved with finding and closing new business. You are a solution-selling-oriented sales professional with IT/MSP sales experience. The right candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills. You arent shy and have no issues picking up the phone and cold/warm calling prospective clients; you love 'getting out there' and attending events and promoting the Nucleus brand. Dont be chained to your desk! With this role you will need to be getting out of the office and the expectation is that you will be attending prospect meetings, events, and other business development initiatives in person.
This role is prospecting-heavy, requiring copious amounts of ambition and drive. Youll work closely with the Director of Client Experience and Business Development team with the expectation that you will fill the funnel every quarter and attain sales goals and targets. You own your funnel!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn the Nucleus stack and our service offerings become a subject matter expert on all products and services.
- Hunt for prospective MRR clients and fill your funnel by whatever means necessary: cold/warm calls, emails, attending in-person events/conferenceswhatever it takes to fill your funnel!
- Be obsessed with Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and close net-new Managed Services clients to attain monthly sales targets. This role is MRR focused.
- Have a great Understand the lay of the land and articulate how Nucleus is different within the MSP marketplace.
- Log all activities within Nucleus CRM (HubSpot) actively and manage the digital pipeline accordingly.
- Participate in Marketing-related activities and Business Development tasks as directed to help grow the Nucleus brand.
- Manage other initiatives as required.
- Attending in-person events and conferences (as required).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a Managed Services Provider or IT Services Company.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and client service skills.
- Hunter mentality seeking new business is your passion, self-motivation, high energy, and commitment to succeed.
- Ability to be successful in a remote-hybrid first company, but you have no problem being on-site for meetings and getting out there.
- Communication skills you can translate the bits/bytes into English.
- Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, and work in a fast-moving environment.
- Proven track record in hunting and closing Monthly Recurring Revenue clients and hitting targets.
- Excellent communication skills (virtual and in-person) and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and alongside team members.
- Experience with HubSpot Sales Professional considered an asset.
