· Develop and maintain the computerized maintenance system for maintenance planning and inventory control purposes
· Enhance department performance, productivity and cost control, ensuring timely and efficient execution of work orders
· Trend analysis, tracking and forecasting to determine life cycles of equipment and parts
· Manage and schedule work orders, assigning maintenance employees for routine preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
· Initiate purchasing of spare parts stock to ensure availability and that prescribed inventory levels are maintained
· Continuous liaison with maintenance, engineering and external suppliers
· Assist Maintenance Manager with the department budget including capital preparation, monitoring expenditures and preparing reports
· Achieve preventative maintenance standards for ISO
· Required to back-up and perform Materials Coordinator duties periodically
· Back-up for this position is a Maintenance Coordinator from alternate plants when required or as designated by the Maintenance Manager, such as the Maintenance Supervisor.
· Other related duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Post-secondary Diploma in a related discipline, trades certification or related experience.
· (2) years of maintenance planning, inventory, and administration experience within a manufacturing environment is a requirement
· Technical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and strong computer skills are prerequisites
· Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skill
