As a member of the Colleague Services team, you will ensure the effective delivery of services to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise employees and residents. No day will be the same in this position and you will work a range of duties including janitorial, shuttle driving, uniform services and equipment rentals.
- Effectively complete janitorial duties, including removing garbage and recycling, vacuuming, cleaning floors and stairwells, walls, doors etc. throughout the public spaces of the staff accommodations and Colleague Services building
- Deliver and remove furniture to/from staff residences as required
- Ensure the cleanliness of vacant units meets standards
- Handling face to face and telephone enquiries from residents
- Daily receipt, sorting, organizing and issuing of clean uniforms and dry cleaning items
- Process used uniforms for delivery and receipt from cleaners
- Daily pick-up and delivery of staff and hotel mail
- Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Operating the colleague shuttle on a regular scheduled basis
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned
- Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence (or equivalent) and must obtain a current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
- Willingness and ability to gain an Alberta Class 4 driver's licence prior to beginning employment or within 3 months of commencement
- Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset, with a proven ability to provide professional, friendly and engaging service
- Experience with cleaning, deep-cleaning or housekeeping duties in commercial, residential or hospitality setting ran asset
- Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Ability to consistently stand and walk and bend throughout shift
- Ability to lift, carry and move large and heavy items on a regular basis
