Reporting to the Director of People Operations, HR Analytics and Operations Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving a data-driven people experience function.

This dynamic role encompasses data management, visualization, and analysis to inform senior leadership decisions. This is an impactful role where your contributions matter and you will get exposure to cutting-edge data analyst tools like Visier. This role supports a proactive approach to planning and HR operations support to ensure the success of the broader people experience team

We are looking for someone with strong technical acumen, a proven pragmatic approach to problem solving with above average learning ability.

Responsibilities:

HR Analytics

  • Compile, analyze and check data integrity of ongoing HR reports and dashboards
  • Accountable for the content, quality and timeliness of Board and Executive presentations and reports based on HR data

Planning

  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating the execution of programs, including Performance Management cycles, Budget Management (Shared Services, Facility), HR Annual Operating Plan, Workforce Planning, Workforce management, Business analysis, and special projects
  • Fostering collaboration between the HR team and other organizational departments
  • Managing budgets, tracking, and reporting expenses

Process Improvement

  • Focus on continuous improvement and always ask, 'how can we do this better'?'.
  • Partner with the HR team and other departments on implementing improvements
  • Develop templates, job aids and other training information as required

HR Ops Support

  • HRIS administration: Provide support for HR systems and applications by partnering with relevant stakeholders
  • Payroll Backup Support (Preparation & Audit)
  • Employee onboarding and off-boarding processes & Employee Survey as needed
  • Oversee pension and benefits administration
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance beyond the PXPs

Qualifications:

  • University degree or relative work experience
  • 3-5 years of business experience, preferably in Data Analysis
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and mathematically inclined, with strong analytical and reconciliation skill
  • Strong Technical Acumen
  • Proven pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Above average learning ability

Location:

We're a hybrid team that thrives on the energy and value of in-office collaboration. This role offers the best of both worlds, with 2 days a week spent in our vibrant offices in Cambridge and Toronto, with Cambridge being our primary hub. The expectation is 2 days a week in Cambridge with travel to Toronto and Cambridge as needed for meetings and events.
