Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with New Brunswick Child Care Standards, YMCA curriculum, and Child Protection policies.
- Plan and implement child-centered programs according to YMCA and provincial standards.
- Oversee staff, conduct site checks, and manage documentation and administrative tasks.
- Build relationships with children and families, adapting to their specific needs.
- Provide direct supervision and performance management for the staff team.
Skills and Qualifications
- ECE Certificate or equivalent.
- 2+ years in Child Care, After School, or Youth programs.
- Flexible with split shifts and various locations.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Team player with feedback orientation.
- Recruitment and staff management experience is an asset.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a cleared Social Development Check
- Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR.
