The Senior Sales Executive will drive new business development and account acquisition within an assigned Canadian territory. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic territory sales plan that includes lead generation, opportunity creation, and pipeline progression to achieve company revenue goals.

As the primary leader in customer acquisition, the Senior Sales Executive will oversee and direct the entire sales cycle. This includes collaborating with an extended team of business development representatives, solutions consultants, professional service experts, and legal support to secure long-term SaaS agreements with new clients in the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Development: Design and execute a comprehensive territory plan, identifying target accounts and driving lead generation to develop opportunities
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline , advancing leads through the sales cycle.
  • Negotiation & Closure: Manage and negotiate complex, enterprise-level agreements
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Reporting: Ensure consistent, accurate use of Salesforce and regular reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in enterprise sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Solution Selling: Demonstrated expertise in solution selling within enterprise technology, specifically SaaS or cloud-native platforms.
  • Executive Engagement: Skilled at building and managing “C” level relationships, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating tailored content and delivering persuasive ROI-based presentations.
  • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in advanced sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Team Orientation: Self-motivated, collaborative, open to coaching, and willing to share best practices.
