EMN has developed ENROUTE, a surgeon recommended nutrition program to help patients prepare better and recover faster. The Role:

EMN is seeking a proactive and strategic Sr. Marketing Manager to work with company leadership to build upon and deploy the marketing strategy across all business areas (B2B2C). Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will lead projects aimed at attracting and retaining channel partners (surgeons & staff), educating and converting consumers (patients) and bringing new products to market. In a start-up environment, you will be required to both manage projects with internal staff and/or fractional services and get hands-on to imagine, plan, and deliver projects and results.

About You:

You are a dynamic and forward-thinking Marketing Manager and leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. You have a proven track record of successfully managing and scaling marketing services and teams. Youre not afraid of a scrappy environment, getting your hands dirty and executing, but you can also clearly delegate projects and manage results. Finally, youre not afraid to admit where your blind spots are and are willing to work closely with your teammates, external resources or customers to fill your knowledge gaps without ego or resistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and grow the team
    • Empower and coach high-performing team
    • Determine services to remain fractional vs. build-in-house competencies
    • Execute hiring or vendor selection process
  • Assist sales in building channel partnerships (surgeon customers)
    • Create and improve sales assets to meet dynamic market needs
    • Oversee organization of marketing events such as tradeshows or educational events
    • Build an inbound funnel through advertisements, socials and/or search
  • Oversee all brand marketing initiatives
    • This may include but is not limited to packaging, events, socials, ads, sales assets, web, media, etc.
    • Services may be in-house or leverage fractional service providers
  • Architect a best-in-class customer and consumer experience
    • For channel (surgeon + staff), ensure EMN remains top of mind and adds value to their practice without overburdening them
    • As an extension of the surgeons practice, EMN must provide consumers (patients) with a level of service equivalent to that of the surgeons practice.
    • Leverage automation tools such as CRM, email, SMS, eCommerce, chat, socials, etc.
  • Bring new products or services to market
    • Lead the development and execution of a go-to-market strategy or product rollouts
    • From time to time, lead limited market releases of products or services
  • Capture voice of customer and consumer
    • Remain connected to the dynamic market conditions
    • Adapt strategies to account for changing market needs
    • Work with R&D to influence the innovation roadmap
  • Lead and manage day-to-day relationships with fractional services
    • Strong project management skills
    • Ensure resources are well spent by managing to result
  • Analyze performance and make data-driven recommendations
    • Leverage and interoperate data to make performance marketing decisions
    • Base decision on performance and results vs. preference

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in product or e-commerce marketing, preferably within the food, foodtech, nutrition or medical industries, focusing on channel partnerships or consumer sales.
  • Deep experience developing and managing multiple channels, including website, socials, PR, etc.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple staff members, fractional services and projects instantaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Previous experience working in a start-up is highly beneficial
  • Passion for making an impact through health and wellness, shaping the future of healthcare with nutrition

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and project management or leadership
  • A track record of managing people or fractional services
