Key Responsibilities:
- Data & Cyber Security: Develop and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits/training, and implement best practices to safeguard company data and systems from threats and breaches. Ensure the companys cybersecurity measures comply with customer requirements and industry standards.
- IT Security Training: Develop, implement, and manage IT security training programs to ensure staff adherence to best practices and security protocols. Regularly update training content to address emerging threats and promote a security-first culture across the organization.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure for both local and remote offices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and system efficiency.
- Server Maintenance & Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of company servers to ensure reliable performance and minimize downtime.
- Network and Server Architecture: Oversee the architecture and management of internal networks, server systems, and critical IT services. Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of infrastructure to support organizational needs.
- IT Support: Provide front-line support to resolve technical issues, responding to employee support requests, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network problems.
- User Network Management: Manage user access and permissions across the network, ensuring secure connectivity and efficient operation for all employees.
- Microsoft Product Support: Administer and support Microsoft-based products, including Windows OS, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange, ensuring their effective and secure usage within the organization.
- System Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute regular maintenance and upgrades for software, software license renewals, hardware, and security systems to keep all IT components up-to-date and secure.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality IT support, procurement of hardware/software, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies-train staff in new systems, best practices, and IT protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- 5+ years in IT management or related roles, with a proven track record of managing and securing network and server systems, preferably within a manufacturing, services or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Windows OS, Office 365, SharePoint, Online Tenant), SQL database management, and programming for automation and task optimization.
- Strong understanding of data and cybersecurity practices, with hands-on experience in implementing security protocols and conducting security audits.
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 27001:2022 and/or NIST CSF 2.0 certification standards
- Competent in Meraki Firewall and VPN administration.
- Proficient experience with Active Directory management of users, computers and groups.
- Strong understanding of modern network administration concepts.
