About Computronix…

For over 40 years, Computronix has been defined by high-quality customer service, ethical business practices, and superior software. Though much has changed in technology, our values of trust, respect, and service have remained as we continue to serve our clients and staff with excellence and vision.

As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will work in a highly dynamic, engaging and fluid work environment where your technical expertise will be utilized to design complex projects and lead a team of software developers in support of Computronix software solutions. You are integral to the success of our client projects through your effective design, leadership, and communication.

In this role...

  • You will engage with various business clients and technical stakeholders to drive implementation and ensure a quality solution is designed, built, and delivered.
  • You will be the senior resource for clients on technical design, questions, concerns, and issues.
  • You are an integral part of the senior project leadership team along with project managers, business analysts, and account managers.
  • You are the primary technical owner on many projects from a leadership perspective and ensure consistency and adherence to quality design standards.
  • You will design and build complex technical solutions to real-life business problems using RDBMS such as Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript, and other technologies.
  • You will have the opportunity to serve as a mentor and technical advisor for the development team through the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • As the technical leader, you will create and delegate detailed tasks and provide developers with clear context and direction.
  • You will also communicate estimates and actuals with key internal project leaders and stakeholders.

You are perfect for this role if...

  • You are a leader with integrity, respect for others, attention to detail, timeline sensitivity, and goal-oriented, and desire to be a mentor.
  • You possess a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in a wide variety of technologies such as PL/SQL, SQL, Python, C#, and other technologies. Familiarity with reporting tools and GIS experience would be helpful as well.
  • You have a "consultant mindset" to help our clients solve business challenges through a clear understanding of constraints, budgets, and needs.
  • You have the technical knowledge to do performance analysis and answer software-specific installation questions.
  • You understand how daily tasks fit in the scope of large projects and you are able to apply long-term targets to short-term tasks.
  • You can effectively lead meetings with clear objectives and follow-up action items.
  • Ability to perform FLCD including design, code, test, and debug of complex software programs.
  • Translate and communicate technical concepts and terminology to non-technical business users.
  • You have a Computer Science degree, 8+ years of software development experience, have been in a client-facing consultant role, and led a team of software developers.
  • You can travel up to 20% to 25%.

You will receive...

  • A competitive pay scale supplemented by a well-defined project bonus structure.
  • A generous medical, dental, and vision benefits plan along with retirement plans.
  • A challenging, fulfilling career with co-workers who interact within the framework of Respect, Trust, and Serve.
  • An opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through our CX Academy.
  • Work/life balance is something we are really committed to, not something we just talk about. We believe you should love your work and your play.
  • A commitment to corporate transparency with quarterly all-company meetings.
