About the role:

As an Intermediate Accountant at DMCL CPA LLP, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and resolving inquiries. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

How youll make a difference:

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
• Prepare compliance tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Respond to CRA inquiries on behalf of clients, providing required documentation and clear communication.
• Support clients during CRA audits by gathering and organizing relevant information and liaising with CRA officials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client services.
  

Who you are:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role in a CPA firm
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and CRA processes.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
