Compensation: $40,000 per year
The Service Department Coordinator position will be tasked with handling all support aspects of the service department as required, primarily through the handling of internal work order administration, warranty claims administration, and customer experience (ASSI) coordination, as well as actively supporting other service staff including retail advisors and Service Manager as necessary.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting customers in peak times as a back up to our service advisors and parts counter, and to cover absences or vacations
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the new and used car departments, quoting repairs , scheduling work , meeting reconditioning deadlines and estimates
- Entering and managing warranty claims through manufacturer portal and correctly invoicing paid claims in DMS
- Facilitating the sales-to-service customer handoff through explanation of service menu and maintenance requirements, and booking first appointments
- Follow up pre-booked appointments prior to initial service visits, as well as missed service appointments
- Assisting with incoming customer inquiries by phone, email or in-person, to ensure a responsive customer experience
- Maintenance of the customer facility condition and materials for customer experience such as sanitation products, and lounge amenities
- After service contact and follow up, ensuring peak customer satisfaction and manufacturer experience standards (ASSI)
- Handling of initial contact for after service inquires, issues, complaints and engaging with Service Manager for handling
- Ensuring compliance with all manufacturer service and warranty standards with regards to paperwork, technician documentation and filing systems
- Leadership and participation in the dealership customer experience and positive employee culture and attitude
What You Bring to the Table:
- Valid G driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
- PBS experience is a definite asset
- Previous Service advisor with a proven track record is consideredan asset, however, we will train the right person for the role
- A very positive person who must possess excellent computer skills , and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
