Director Sales New Development
Our client is an award-winning real estate Developer in the GTA. We are conducting a search for a Director Sales for their New Development Communities in the GTA
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall sales activities that include market research, sales presentations, tracking of sales and marketing trends, advertising campaigns and promotional events for various multi-family residential projects.
- Working closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure effective and consistent articulation of brand and messaging to various audiences, both public-facing and internal, ensuring alignment of company messaging.
- Exceptional understanding of local real estate market and remaining up to date on pre-construction home sales and market dynamics to inform product design and pricing.
- Lead and manage a team of internal/external sales staff, and work collaboratively to execute residential sales campaigns.
- Preparation of regular sales reports, collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Develop and be responsible for achieving aggressive monthly targets.
- Work with internal project teams to advise on project design, including design of the building, amenities, and floorplans to maximize purchase value.
- Build and establish a positive rapport with all stakeholders (including hired consultants, vendors, advertisers etc.).
- Conduct research and stay up to date on industry/market trends and innovations which may be implemented to improve the value proposition of the portfolio.
- Report and present to Senior Management as required.
- Offer real-time perspective on industry trends and best practices; share insight and wisdom through presentations to key stakeholders including the firm's partners, investors, and media contacts.
- Generate ideas and strategies for new development projects and internal processes that better enable the organization to achieve its goals.
- Be responsible for the professional development, performance evaluation and general talent management of ahigh performing sales team.
- Hire and monitor consultants where appropriate.
- Manage relationships with clients and agents locally and globally.
Academic/Professional Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business, real estate, or equivalent.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years in a professional sales leadership position in an active real estate market of New Development communities
- An established track record in leading and managing a diverse and skilled group of professions and in building high-performance teams, expanding capacity and scaling business for growth.
- Exceptional oral and written presentation skills to facilitate internal communication and being the “external face” of the company.
